BFPA HOSE ASSEMBLY SKILLS TRAINING
As well as being on hand to help with all of your hydraulic needs, Robbie Fluid Engineering has now formed a training partnership with the British Fluid Power Association (BFPA).
Training is something that Robbie Fluid has always ranked high in the list of priorities, by continuously taking on young staff and supporting through to apprenticeship. This conscious decision to impart knowledge and experience has always been to support the continuance of the hydraulic and engineering industry, and the skills involved. This ethos can now be expanded through offering our customers the chance to be part of one of the many training courses set out by the BFPA.
Robbie Fluid Engineering has recently become an approved BFPA training facility, one of only a few in Scotland. Check out the link below to find our facility on the BFPA training academy website, and also details of the courses available.

Our Managing Director, Mark Robbie, is now a fully credited trainer to fulfil the Hose Assembly Skills Training Programme. The most recent course ran at the beginning of May, with each attendee spending 2 days both in the classroom environment for theoretical study, and on the shop floor for practical experience. At the end of the course each attendee walked away with the certification of skills achieved, registration on the BFPA national database, and also a BFPA training passport in the post detailing each course completed.
Robbie Fluid Engineering like to work closely with our customers to identify what other training courses would be of benefit to them. Having a trained workforce is a key asset to any business, therefore our objective is to undertake more of the BFPA training programmes as and when required.
