FSB ANNUAL FUNDRAISING DINNER – BEATLIE SCHOOL
The Annual Dinner of FSB West Lothian Branch was held at The Cairn Hotel, Bathgate on Friday 25th October. The main speaker for the evening was Margaret Curran MP – Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland – and guests included Michael Connarty MP, the Provost and CEO of West Lothian Council, Tom Kerr and John McGinty amongst many local leaders.The entertainment for the night was very impressive, Gordon Cree – a UK acclaimed Musician/Vocalist/Instrumentalist/Musical Director, Connor Smith from Broxburn, the first ever Scot to win The Young Musician of The Year award. Another great performer was Amy Hawthorn with an amazingly attractive vocal set.
The dinner raised in excess of £1500.00 for Beattlie School in Craigshill, Livingston. Beattlie is a special needs school which, as part of Beattlie Campus, meets both the educational and medical needs of particularly challenging needs.
